Co-curricular Activities
In order to allow the students to express them selves through extra curriculum activities; we encourage and provide access for the students to practice extra curriculum activities among which is sports, music dance and drama. One of our more successful activities is music dance and drama;
Suubi Drama club
The Suubi Drama club has won several local awards are in partnership with our friends and supporters in Canada; we do have our kids tour several Canadian cities informing and educating Canadian on life in Uganda , culture , dance and also help raise funds to support the budget needs of the school. Through Music, Dance and Drama activities, the students get to re-discover and re-focus their talents for further development. This team of serious students has seen the school grow from 150 to over 300 in the last couple of years most of whom are orphans and the under privileged.
Sports club
Sports club(Which equips students with skills in the sports sector with games where games such as Netball for the girl child, Volleyball-for the boys and girls, Football for boys, Dodge ball, Chase and Scrabble for both sexes, , Debating for all students, Interact, Nkobazambogo –For cultural preservations and promotions, CNN-Cambridge News network-one of the most exciting clubs at school whose major role is to inform students of what is happening within and around the school by providing both local and international news every Monday morning. Through this collaboration the students have been exposed to a variety of ideas which have NOT ONLY impacted on their behavior but also shaped their lives.
Social Enterprises
The Young Achievers at Cambridge Secondary School-Recent Strategies that have been taken to Strengthen the Capacity of our students: Student groups are on the increase. Day after day more are formed across the globe as young women around the world have realized that they need to work together so as to reach their full potential. Contrary to what was there before, women have risen, formed groups and most of them have one common goal: to improve their standards of living.
